Realty Enhancements
The president of Realty Enhancements, Wendy Dilda, created the training
curriculum and has personally taught all our enhancers, over the past 6
years, originally as part of the Interior Arrangement and Design
Association. In the spring of 2005 Realty Enhancements became an
independent entity. We have grown up, blossomed, and come of age!
Our mission is to offer homeowners and realtors a network of
credentialed professionals skilled at preparing listings that appeal to
a broad market and show in the most advantageous way. Our growing
membership is nationwide and includes several Canadian provinces. Our
training is comprehensive and on-going.
Our members are receiving growing attention from the media for their
consistent proficient work, from the Jane Pauley Show, Decorating Cents,
Tele Mundo, Good Housekeeping Magazine, and The Chicago Tribune to
numerous local magazines, television programs, and newspapers. Dilda has
had media exposure which includes TV appearances on HGTV, CBS, ABC and
NBC. She has been published in many magazines and newspapers including
The New York Times, USA Today, The Chicago Tribune, and The Wall Street
Journal. In 2003 she wrote The Move Book-A Unique Planning Guide and
Workbook for Moving and Relocating. She has also authored articles for
Homestore.com and InterRealty.com.
Dilda has been a featured speaker for the California Association of
Realtors, The Orange County Philharmonic House of Design, Title
Companies in Texas, The Interior Arrangement and Design Association, and
Bassett Furniture. She also owns her own interior arrangement and real
estate enhancement business founded in 1997. Her daily work with
realtors and clients keeps her training ideas and principles fresh and
current.
In July 2005 Dilda published
statistics showing the positive effects of
enhancement on the sale of a home, resulting in reduced time on the
